I got to poke at this antique printing press, with trays of movable type and everything. I was touring a bronze artist’s shop today and when he heard I work on books, he pulled the sheet off this antique. I’d never seed one close up before. It needs a little TLC, and a bigger space to be able to run through a full cycle.
I so want to play with this. I’m thinking we need to get this in shape so we can still put out books after the power runs out. Though, there is a motor on this that could speed up the process.
