Ever been told that a fan actually heats up a room? It’s not quite a myth, but it is a moot point. Today on Sci-Why, I look at the net effect of fans, fanning, air conditioners, and sticking your head in the good old refrigerator.

TL;DR: Best bet is planting more trees.
