The list of updates to this third edition of Effective Onscreen Editing, by Geoff Hart is enough to convince me this books will pay for itself. There are places it could be more helpful, and some wasted words trying to convince us to all but abandon paper (we shouldn’t need convincing in 2016), but the bucket load of tricks and tips cinch the usefulness of this title.
