Tweet this post.When editing writing compiled from dozens of people, an editor needs to play the role of choir conductor, bringing the voices together for a consistent sound. Dimitra Chronopoulos gives us some tips in my Canadian, Eh? column at Copyediting.com today.

Why don’t I call them writers or authors? Because that doesn’t seem a fitting title for those sending in their own bios or submitting eight-sentence recollections. These are contributors and not more.
